The first paragraph in that article sets the tone. "If you're not me, 
you are an uneducated sheep and I am here to set you straight." The last 
paragraph seals it. "I'm unfamiliar with his work so any opinion he has 
is to be dismissed."

I had a skipper like that on my last ship. Nobody respected him, and it 
was his last command.
