[Mldxcc] A little help from our friends..contest style

Greetings Mother Lode gang!

First I wanted to congratulate your recent Sweepstakes efforts.  It really feels great to see your recent success in racking up some SS Gavel action.

As we move into the contest season, and with the support of your Prez, I wanted to send a request for your participation in the upcoming RTTY roundup, the NCCC could really use your help this year to boost our number of participants.  Last year, the NCCC won the round up gavel, in.. the Medium Club category.  Participation was a bit low, but the scores were great.  W1RH summarized our situation the best with this..

"Last year, PVRC won the Unlimited Category un-challenged, with 62 logs.  Their score?  1,929,695, an average of 31,124 points per log.

NCCC, with 43 logs, won Medium Club.  Our Score?  1,879,145, an average of 43,701 points per log.

SMC was in second place in the Medium Club Category with 1,648,227 points.  48 logs with an average of 34,338 points per log.

Do your outgoing prez a favor.  Let's win and win big!!  You know we can do it."

So what we are in dire need of is participants to help us bring that unlimited club gavel back to the Northern CA Circle. Any effort level(but the bigger the better).  Knowing that many of you are also NCCC members, I thought this would be a great time to ask for a little help from our friends in MLDXCC.  Many of you are already members of the NCCC.  This would also be a great opportunity, if you are not already an NCCC member to join up!  If you desire to do so, we will make arrangements.. and I will personally sponsor you if needed.

Chasing gavels in the Unlimited category can be great fun, and as many of you know, fast paced RTTY contesting can be a blast as well!

Begins 1800 UTC Saturday, ends 2400 UTC Sunday (January 6-7, 2018).   Approximately one month from now, so some good planning time!

-Your effort level(it's a 24 out of 30 hour contest..)  FT or PT with estimate of your total effort
-Your station, and if SO2R please specify..
-Any notes.. like I need to join NCCC, etc.

We really hope you can join us for this effort.  It should be a great time, and we can use some good Gold Miners to help us strike the Mother Lode!
