I asked ARRL when we might expect our 2016 gavel, here's their response. 
February.

Perhaps we should have them put something into the by-laws to get them 
out sooner hi hi.

I'm the President of the Mother Lode DX/Contest Club and we won the Medium Club category in the 2016 Sweepstakes (2nd year in a row!) When we won in 2015 I received the gavel in early November of 2016. I have not yet received the gavel for winning the 2016 contest. I've had club members request to hold the gavel. Would you happen to know when it will be mailed?
