Please don't forget to submit your logs for the CQ Magazine DX Marathon 
no later than 2359Z January 10, 2018. Last year MLDXCC finished 6th 
overall, 3rd in the US. We'd like to improve on that!

The information page is at http://www.dxmarathon.com/. Their submission 
is a bit difficult but I will assist as necessary. You need to submit 
your log as an Excel spreadsheet filled out a particular way. The 
absolute easiest way to do this is outlined here, but if you don't want 
to do that just send me your entire 2017 log in ADI format and I'll do 
it for you.

1. Download the .xls format sheet from the DX Marathon site. 
http://www.dxmarathon.com/Submission/2017/Submission2017.htm Save that 
on your computer where you can find it later.

2. Download and install the ADIF to CQ DX Marathon conversion program 
from http://software.ad1c.us/marathon/

3. From your logging program, create an ADIF file of all of your 2017 QSOs.

4. Run the conversion program, fill in the necessary information (call, 
address, category etc.). List your club as Mother Lode DX/Contest Club.

5. Use the ADIF Log button to find your ADIF file you just created.

6. Use the Scoresheet button to find the .xls form you downloaded in step 1.

7. Use the Output File button to tell the program where to create your 
Excel spreadsheet.

8. Use the Convert button to create the Excel spreadsheet.

9. Email the Excel spreadsheet as an attachment to logs at dxmarathon.com
