Are you ready? I can't wait!

After evaluating the results of the CQP survey I sent out a few weeks 
ago, we have decided that Mother Lode will be competing in the Medium 
Club category. That means that the 35 highest scores of the club will 
count towards our total. However, based on the results of that survey, 
we may not have 35 entries so even a few QSOs could help. Get on the air 
next weekend!

In case you hadn't heard, it appears that SCCC is also competing in the 
Medium category, so we are taking on probably the biggest eligible club 
in California. This is going to be exciting to see who comes out on top! 
Kinda makes you wonder who is competing in the large club category?

No category selection action is needed on your part when submitting your 
log, all logs submitted for MLDXCC will automatically go into the right 
category.

Be aware of any frequencies in use for hurricane aid in Puerto 
Rico/Caribbean. We certainly don't want our contesting to interfere with 
ongoing operations. We're hoping to get a good list of frequencies to 
avoid, to be published before the contest.
