[Mldxcc] CQP Practice Session: Friday Night

To make sure you and your station are ready for the Big Event — and minimize a visit from Murphy — there will be a 45-minute practice session this Friday evening.

Date;    Friday Night, October 6
Time:    7:15 - 8:00 PM PDT  =  Saturday, October 7, 0215 - 0300 UTC
Bands:    20M, 40M, 80M  (15 minutes per band, in that order)
Modes:    Both CW and Phone

On CW call "CQP CK”

On Phone call  "CQP Check"

Check your antenna SWR, CW macros, logging software, boomset, keyer, seat cushions, refrigerator, etc. to make sure everything is working smoothly.  

All are welcome to participate — especially County Expedition teams.

Short Net Meeting after practice session:  Friday, October 7 at 8:00 PM PDT
Where:    3610 kHz LSB  (+/-)
Report on your status, try some signal or audio checks, ask questions, etc.

All 58 Counties will be on the air starting this Saturday, October 7 at 1600 UTC.
