[Mldxcc] Update: Doug Bender, WW6D

I just spoke with Doug.  Unfortunately he did lose his home in the Santa Rosa fire.  Doug said he only had 10 minutes to vacate his home at 3:00 AM.  Unfortunately he couldn’t find his cats and had to leave them behind.  He is concerned about them.

He and his family are safe and staying with good friends temporarily.  He’s been in touch with his insurance company already.  Doug hopes to be back on the internet soon — hopefully later this week.

I told Doug that if he needs anything in the short term to lean on his ham radio friends.  He understands, and wanted me to pass on this info to all of you.
