That's interesting.  I can read through this press release and tell he's resigning rather than face an embarrassing BOD vote which would essentially do the same thing.  The PR gives several other reasons why Tom Gallagher NY2RF is "retiring."  None of that matters.

What matters now is what happens next at ARRL.
