From DX-World:
Today [Monday - Rick], they had a windy day, 60 knots, and some
antennas have fallen down but they were able to fix
afterwards. VP8SGI manager, KU9C, will not be able to change logs at
this time. If your QSO is not in the VP8SGI log, work them again. In
case you have not been able to repeat missing QSO, feel free to
contact KU9C at vp8sgi_logresearch@yahoo.com
for log inquiries after VP8SGI goes QRT.

There is some question about when they go QRT. The original plan
was 10 Feb, when they arrived on S Georgia, they said 6 days (4
Feb), another site shows 8 Feb... so get in there ASAP if you
haven't filled your quota.
Again, I was able to have a short but REAL QSO with them on 80 phone
last night (confirmed today!) and their hope was to be active on 160
again tonight OUR time (peak about 9-10 PM, then their sunrise). I
managed slot 12 on 15 phone a few ago, they just weren't strong
enough on 10 CW for the dipole (and as a long wire, it points at
them, more or less). 10 from here has potential, 160 would be
amazing; both would be a band sweep. So far, ALL my contacts I was
sure of, have made the log (surprising me too).
I miss my tribander.
Good hunting,
Rick NHC
