G'morning,

What a crazy world we live in.  After struggling to make even one contact (made it, 30M CW at 200 watts) I was able to have an instant message conversation with one of the operators at Heard this morning (their evening) and while they're disappointed with conditions and lack of propagation, their spirits are high.  They'll be there another week and are WELL aware that more contact with the West Coast is wanted/needed.  They were on 160 this (our) last grey line, made ONE contact; similar on 20 meters yesterday.

Grey line is your friend.  20 meters has been randomly opening throughout our nights...  Persevere!

This storm is abating and they'll be hitting every grey line.  They know that's the best pipeline for the West Coast.
