As far as MLDXCC roster goes, Dick can send what he has and I'll format it for the club submission. I can look up grid squares based upon addresses you have, and double check those against the FCC database to see if they correspond.

The issue, as far as I see it isn't so much QTH as "member in good standing." I call out the applicable section of the by-laws: "In order to maintain membership in good standing, members must participate in at least one “club event” per year and pay annual dues when required.  A “club event” is considered member participation in a MLDXCC focus contest, a monthly MLDXCC general membership meeting, a MLDXCC sanctioned regional meeting, or an annual upload to Club Log contributing to the Club DX League on behalf of MLDXCC."

Checking Club Log is easy enough and attendance at a MLDXCC meeting is easily tracked. Attending a regional meeting is a bit grey because I don't recall signing an attendance sheet at our joint meeting. For those who never attend monthly meetings and have no record of attending a joint meeting we have to rely on past log submissions for our focus contests. Do we have anybody tracking that? I wouldn't know where to begin.

Hi Chris, I know they want to keep it simple. It's all about where you transmit from, and that's not new. That's your grid. We can do this. 73 jeff wk6i

This is going to pose a bigger challenge I think.  So the way I see it you have member home QTH, member station QTH, club station QTH.

The ARRL advisory on this only metions club circle and member qth location.  This in no way covers all these variables.

This will need to be clarified by W9JJ right away as sweepstakes is just around the corner.

Subject: [Mldxcc] [NCCC] ARRL Updates Club rules

Looks like the ARRL is going modern in its contest club rosters. One big change - the rosters must be set before the beginning of the contest.

See the article at:
http://www.arrl.org/news/arrl-announces-club-competition-eligibility-changes

If I am going to do this for MLDX/CC, I'll be needing the grid square indicator for everyone + help making the necessary file to upload.
Our roster is not a spread-sheet so it is not simply a matter of adding a column.
Suggestions, help, etc. are most welcome.
I would like to have this done sooner rather than later.

TU & 73,

Dick
