It was truly amazing to hear all of you on the bands this weekend, and many I worked on 4+ bands. It was as if someone ran a wire from Eldorado to CT.

I built a new antenna in about 3 hours on NY Day (we had 50 deg weather) and got the slingshot shot up 75 ft.  It is just a simple off-center fed dipole made out of 12ga wire, but the SWR is flat across every band except 60, 30 and (oddly) 12.  This one is at 90 degrees from the G5RV and 45 off the ZS6BKW.

You were all so very strong!

I hope you are all safe.  We had snow over the weekend and I lost 2 hours of operating time blowing it out, but I gather it is nothing like the rain and possible mud slides you might be getting.

Keep in touch, and know our prayers are with you.

PS - I hope I didn't mess up W1RH too badly, but I got so excited hearing him I kept hitting the wrong keys!
