Good afternoon KB'ers,
It appears that all NCCC RTTY Roundup logs have been submitted, which makes my job easy (since I'm nowhere near as good a flogger as K6DGW).
I have bad news and good news:
The bad news - PVRC will win the Unlimited Category. As of this point in my count, they are the only entrant, with 60 logs and a claimed score total of 2,167,914.
The good news - NCCC has 46 logs submitted and, by my count, is currently leading the pack in the Medium Club Category (50 log total).
Here are the details:
1,962,039 - NCCC - 46 logs submitted
1,679,404 - Society of Midwest Contesters - 50 logs submitted
1,005,285 - Minnesota Wireless - 45 logs submitted
All of the clubs have logs that won't count because some calls are not on the eligibility list as of the day prior to the contest.
I want to note that we had W7RN off the air due to the storm and had some other stations seriously crippled because of the storm. W7RN and W1SRD, alone, would have added another 400K to our score, putting us way over PVRC in score total.
This is just an update and by no means a claim that we won. The log deadline is still a few days away and then we need to wait for the final scores.
Next in the RTTY arena - CQ WPX RTTY - February 11/12 - Mark the date, hope that there is no big storm, and plan to kick butt!
Bob
