I am forwarding this for Ginny Snider, N6RER.  Bill, K6KM, her SK husband, had the call NG6O and it's now up for renewal.
Since she is not active, she is thinking someone in the NCCC or MLDXCC may want this call, since Bill was an active member of both groups.
I don't know what the process to do this is, but if you are interested in this call, please contact Ginny directly via her email address........................Thanks, de Rick,W6SR

Hi Rick and Karen,

I just got a notice for renewal of the station call sign we had:  NG6O.  Since there is no station now, I don't plan on renewing that one.  Do you know someone who wants it?  I don't know if call signs can can be transferred.  If not, maybe someone can just look for it coming up as available.
Thanks.

I don’t know the answer to license renewal question, but I suspect the answer is no.  Since the FCC has all the information on his SK published in QST it’s probably a no-go.
Also I will donate the money to the MLDXCC in his name.  Thanks.....Rick

Hi Rick,

Please do donate the money to MLDXCC.  Bill always liked the club and its members, and I'm sure he would have approved.

Is it possible to renew a license for a ham who is deceased?  His license doesn't expire until 2021, but I'd like to keep it in his name for a while.  Does ARRL even care?

Again, thanks to you and all the club members who were involved in disassembling and selling the radio equipment.

Hi to Karen!

Hi Ginny
We sold several pieces of Rohn hardware totaling $200.  Would you like me to donate the $200 to the MLDXCC in Bill’s name, or just send you a check?
Thanks, Rick
