Guys & Gals,
A big THANK YOU
to all of you that have served our
country through
military service. Today is a very
special
day. Enjoy it knowing that many have lost
their
life so that we all can have the freedom we
are
privileged to experience every day.
WRT
Novice licensing: I go back to WN0QYE issued
in
April of 1953, but Dr. Dave, W6NL, has me beat by
over a
year. This only proves that we are all growing
older...
hopefully wiser!

PS -
Congrats to you Dick, K6LRN!
Congrats, Alan.
We have at least a couple others like K6DGW &
K6ANP that I
think were licensed when the Novice class was
first instituted.

KN6SRZ was issued 1956 (I was in 8th
grade). That's 61 years, but I was inactive
from '62 to '96. When I got back on the
air, I was issued KE6SAG, but found that
K6SRZ was unclaimed so I got it back through
vanity.
73 & KB,
Alan, K6SRZ
62 years!
That's impressive. Were you KN6LRN?
