I am the trustee of the NY6I Solano ARC, but I don’t see anybody else around here interested or capable of working well with others to generate a small club entry.  I’ll stick with MLDXCC.

Subject: Re: [Mldxcc] California QSO Party Rule Changes Affecting MLDXCC

Some of us have been discussing that also (clubs now eligible). One of the rules is that a club must have in-person meetings, which SCCC does not seem to have. The rules may need some published clarification of what constitutes an in-person meeting (minutes? at least six per year? lists of attendees?) SCCC doesn't have by-laws available on their website, is that a requirement or should it be?

Like MLDXCC, we expect that they will also lose some contributors to local clubs. We're hoping our major players are still wanting to be part of a big club effort.

Your point is valid Bill, and we risk not getting a plaque this year, but we want everyone's points to count, and we're hoping for a good effort.

Another change in rules not mentioned in this write up is that clubs formerly excluded  (SCCC for example) may now compete -- under new rules, the only excluded club is the NCCC.
