I certainly do support this. We couldn't have won CQP and Sweepstakes without NCCCs help. A couple of things to keep in mind as you read W1RH's comments below. One is that PVRC had over 250 entries in Sweepstakes. There is just no way that NCCC, MLDXCC or other contest clubs can compete against that. Yet in RTTY RU they only had 62 last year. They are just not a RTTY contesting club. Another that we're all aware of is that east coast clubs have the upper hand in DX contests. When PVRC gets into the RTTY contesting scene we can say goodbye to unlimited gavels of any kind on the west coast.

This is NCCC's opportunity to win an unlimited gavel. They've done it before with our help, and they can do it again. Please make plans to participate.

Greetings Mother Lode gang!

First I wanted to congratulate your recent Sweepstakes efforts.  It really feels great to see your recent success in racking up some SS Gavel action.

As we move into the contest season, and with the support of your Prez, I wanted to send a request for your participation in the upcoming RTTY roundup, the NCCC could really use your help this year to boost our number of participants.  Last year, the NCCC won the round up gavel, in.. the Medium Club category.  Participation was a bit low, but the scores were great.  W1RH summarized our situation the best with this..

“Last year, PVRC won the Unlimited Category un-challenged, with 62 logs.  Their score?  1,929,695, an average of 31,124 points per log.
