I totally agree with Steve.  Instead of walking away from the ARRL, let's "take control" of OUR organization!..............Rick,W6SR

Al and Fred are spot on. Taking your ball and going home is not the way for positive change. We need to drive the elected representative process.

I would like to see the leadership of all the various clubs of which we are members come together and request a formal motion be made to the board to reverse the censure of N6AA during the January meeting.  A unified message from NCCC, MLDXCC, REDXA, NCDXC, PL-259, etc. and any I haven't thought of that we are members of.

Since this is a mostly Pac Division discussion list, preferably this motion be brought by our elected Director, Bob Vallio, W6RGG.

I realize this is potentially uncomfortable, but enough talk. Time for action within the current system.

ARRL is very useful as the USA national organization. There is a long historical relationship with the FCC and government in general. It would be unwise to throw that away. The BOD has a meeting in Jan. Let's give them a chance to correct their course. They must know by now that they've kicked a hornet's nest.
