Just got a Yaesu FT-1000D and FIF=232C to replace the Kenwood
TS-940S and IF-232C. The Kenwood worked perfectly with NA
10.04 and a standard Radio Shack RS-232 cable. The computer is
a Pentium.

The Yaesu set-up does not want to work. I set the COM Port for 2
stop bits and with the FIF in inverted mode (stock) I got Radio Out Of
Band flashes and the band moved around; the radio wouldn't
change frequency. With the FIF in standard mode NA just "hung up."
but the radio's VFO worked.

Help!!!
Thanks and 73, Bob AA0CY
