[NA-User] Help - How to Turn Off Sound?

Hi,

I don't have my manual with me here in Japan and I can't figure out how to
turn off the cw sound in the computer.  It's driving me crazy!  The command
used to be "nosound" but that isn't working.  I've read through the help
menus about a million times over the past 11 hours and I still can't figure
it out.  Somebody please help!  (using version 10.53)
