[NCC] W8KIC update

As you know, Val underwent open heart surgery on Monday, July 3.  As of 9
p.m. Monday, Anne reports that Val is doing well and that the heart valve
replacement surgery appears to be a success.   Although a 
bypass procedure was also considered, the docs determined that it was not
necessary.

Val is expected to remain in the ICU for several days and then will be
transferred to a private room in
Lerner Tower at University Hospitals of Cleveland.  He is expected to be in
the hospital for another 5-7 days.

Anne extended thanks to the gang for all the good thoughts and prayers.
