NCC'ers

One of the things that Tom discussed at NCC/ K8AZ's cookout was the need
for others to be able to recognize a NCC Club member.  Uniformity was
the word mentioned.  Tom brought out his Badge of honor, his North Coast
Contesters Name tag badge of years past. Not many could say they have a
call sign badge with NCC on it.  In a blur, not quite as fast as K8DX
being elected as president, I volunteered to handle the badges.

I contacted AAE in Canton.  The badge is Gold with black letters, 3" x
1-3/4"   Your call sign on top,  name in the middle and the bottom line
North Coast Contesters.

Normally a pin is glued to the backside, this has been replaced by a
dual magnetic strip, it's great, no holes in your shirts and it will not
fall off.

Bottom line cost!

As of now we don't have a checkbook, checks will have to be made out to
me.  4 weeks from now I'll give a last call for badges here on the
reflector with a list of who has sent their $'s,   I will wait a week or
so and place the order in October.

With your order I will need a note with your call and name, or nickname
you want engraved.
