I´m Jeff, DL5WM. Today I did receive your QSLcard. Many thanks.
Scott, I`ve got a personal question. Perhaps you can help me (us).
My daughter Sabine (17), she is going to spend the next 10 month in the
United States to visit an american High School during this time. This is a
program of a exchange-organisation in Germany (GIVE) and in USA (ASSE).
Everything should be started in august 2000.
meanwhile it is september and nothing happend yet.
I know, that is very difficult for the US-organisation to find enough
host-families.
This situation in not good for the children. And now I will help.
I am a HAM like you. And I like to ask you from HAM to HAM. It is only a
question : If you by any chance know a family, which is maybe interested in
such a cultural experience, to give my daughter the opportunity to have a
2nd home in the USA for this 10 month ( from now to june 2001), thancontact
me quickly. Than I can give more informations about the next steps.
Pardon my friend, the situation is not easy. My daughter and other children
are waiting for a sign to start.

in a little village in eastern part of Germany, near Dresden.
