[NCC] NCC Stuff

Hello Ron and everyone in NCC. Greetings from Alaska. I'm interested in
joining an NCC team for NAQP and/or Sprint. I think those are about the
only contests I'm eligible to participate in with NCC. I trust the minimum
meeting attendance and distance ring rules still apply for score submissions
in other contests? Attending meetings is a bit problematic for me, hi.

I've recently gotten a station set up here in Juneau and I've been doing my
usual dabbling in CW contests. Keep me in mind for any contests in which I
am able to add my score to NCC. And I always keep a keen ear out for
familiar callsigns in the contests, especially on 80/160.

73,
Tim W3YQ KL7WV

Hi All..I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and did some serious butt
kickin' in the CW WW. Conditions made for an interesting weekend in that
probably most of you made more Q's the second day than the first.

Several folks have asked about NCC participation in the upcoming ARRL 160m
and 10m contests. Traditionally these are not events that we make a major
effort in, but they are excellent chances to get on and have some fun. If
you do get on, make sure you submit your log and post your score to 3830 and
the NCC reflector.

Looking into the near future----Next month are the CW and SSB NAQP's. I
think it's time that NCC made a re-appearance in those events. Anyone want
to take part in an NCC team for either event? I'll organize, harass, etc.

February is SHOWTIME for NCC. We are out to defend our ARRL DX TEST
Medium Club gavel that we won last year..how many is that now??? Start
setting aside those important weekends and polishing off the aluminum. Also
the Sprints take place just before ARRL and would be a good warm-up. Who
wants to Sprint??

Awaiting your comments,

Ron, K8NZ
