I'm happy to inform you that NCC has one again, been chosen
as one of the top thirteen contest clubs in the United States.
Our voice will have a strong impact on who gets sent to Finland
next year for WRTC.

I've waited to send out this note until after Dayton, so we
might have a better idea of just how to handle our selection
process. After speaking with the Presidents of MRRC, SCCC,
FRC, YCCC and NCC members who attended Dayton,
this is the way our selection process will work;
The list of candidates who have expressed an interest of attending
can be found at: http://www.contesting.com/wrtc2002/club
Click on the callsign to read their resume. Please pick ten from=20
the west and ten from the east, in order from first to last. First
place picks will get ten points, tenth place picks one point. The
top five vote getters of the east and west will be sent to OH=20
organizers as our NCC endorsement. The exception to the rule
being that two of our club members, K3LR & K8NZ, will be=20
two of our "automatic" picks since they are the only ones from=20
NCC who have expressed an interest in attending.

Scott Jones, N3RA, has graciously volunteered to collect and count
all votes. Send your selections to N3RA@contesting.com by June
8th. The NCC WRTC 2002 list, along with a matrix of who voted for=20
who, will be available after June 15th.
Please e-mail me with any questions that you might have.
