Tim....How can you check these tubes to see if they are bad??? Having
problems with my Ameritron AL811 amp...I know its not the greatest, but the
price was right at the time....I'm currently on second set of tubes, which
have black spots around the bottom about 2 inches high and 40% around tubes.
I show grid and plate on the amp when I power it up, but I don't get much
responsed when attempting to adjust the amp, and most importantly I get NO rf
out.......any ideas??? I would love to get rid of this thing, but gotta
get it fixed first...... Jon k8ly
