[NCC] Greetings

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.  It looks like several NCC members have made 
important contributions to the MRRC Sweepstakes effort.  As many of you know, 
NCC decided last January to forgo any effort in SS and urged all members with 
dual NCC/MRRC memberships to throw their scores into the MRRC pot.  It looks 
like K8AZ (m/s), K8DX, W8CAR, N8TR and K8MR (our newest member) have led the 
way.  Did I miss anyone?

Thanksgiving brings lots of turkey, pumpkin pie and of course best of all, 
the CQWW  CW contest.  This is one of our "big ones", so try to put as much 
blood, sweat and tears as you can into this one.  Notify W8CAR of your 
intended effort so that he can post things to the web site.  

As a consequence of missing the October meeting, I was picked (selected, 
elected, railroaded) as President for the upcoming year.  Scott, N3RA (our 
new VP)and I intentd to continue the momentum that was begun by K8DX over the 
past year.  More activity and better communication within the club will be my 
goals for 2001-2002.  

Hope to hear everyone in the piles this weekend.
