Well now that's the way to get out and pile up the points!!! Thanks to our
Web Guru, W8CAR, we have a rough guess as to our club score. A few scores
were missed by the "Guru", so please stand by for the additions of K2UA, W3IQ
and N8PW. This will add another 6meg to an already FB score. Check out
www.qsl.net/ncc for score updates.

In an effort to further upgrade our web presence, W8CAR is asking for any
members who have personal web sites related to radio, contesting, etc. to
forward your URL to him. He can create links from the club roster to your
site. Send them to w8car@buckeye-express.com

The K8AZ m/s crew was unanimous in agreeing that conditions this past weekend
were possibly the best ever. We were able to run EU on 20m all night BOTH
nights. Our 40m score suffered, but hour after hour of 100+ rates made us
forget about what we were missing on 40. In addition to that, other high
points were: outstanding JA activity, 15m open to EU all night on Saturday
(not for quantity, but it was cool to hear) and very quiet low bands on
Friday.

Our quest to win the ARRL medium club competition is only half way finished.
The really hard road lies ahead. Splatter, split frequency operating and
more lids, kids and space cadets (homage to W2OY of yesteryear) that one can
shake a stick at can be found on an HF band near you next weekend. March 2-3
is the SSB weekend that will make or break our most excellent (tnx Bill and
Ted) ARRL adventure. Start looking for those mike's now. Some of us have to
start now to find it by contest time.

Got any interesting tid bits from CW weekend. High points, low points?
Interesting openings, observations? Post them to ncc@contesting.com I look
forward to reading them.

73,
Ron, K8NZ
