NCC'ers, operated 24 hrs, plus a few minutes operating assisted. The only
real challenge was at 9 am Sat when Kathy handed a plate with breakfast
durning the run on ten. Looking back I see that I ate durning a 100 Q hour.
I had loaded up the DVP and S & P'ed the packet spots, letting my fingers do
all the talking, IT WAS GREAT! I had to stop Sat at 4pm for a family get
together and wasn't able to get back on until 9pm, the noise was so bad on
the low bands that by 11pm it was time to quit. Did operate Sunday morning
before church and got in 45 more minutes in the afternoon. Heard K8AZ, K8AL
N8PW and N8TR all over the bands. Tom, Did W8AZ cause ya any problems? The
N1LN in TX did for me. Sorry about not spoting much....the K8TME cluster
dumped me dozens of times and reconnecting created more of a challange when
it replied BUSY. Did the cluster set a record for spots? Heard cq'ing as
high as 28.993 mHz
Problems to address....
1. something is generating noise, S-5 to 6
2. pointing the beam south with the amp on, and only south, NA logging gets
trashed.
3. the carrier level on ten meters has gone south, had to stop using 10 Sat
afternoon
