What an educational experience I had. First contest with new rig and new logging program! Definitely not the brightest thing to attempt at same time. Rig, FT 1000 MP, did ok. Surely not my ICOM 756 PRO, but it did good job. Definitely missed the voice keyer on the PRO, as the DVS-2 piece of crap from Yaesu is total junk!!!!! Expensive junk at that... Cw keyer is great, voice keyer sucks big time.... Between football game on Friday nite, after game beer blast, wedding Saturday afternoon with reception Saturday nite in Cleveland, just couldn't devote as much time as liked... Never the less, every point does count..
