[NCC] Thurs nite contest fun

Hi all,

After hearing about them for many, many, moons, I actually got on last nite 
for one of the NCCC "practice" sessions. They have been mentioned on the 
cq-contest reflector and for the first time at 0230z, I turned the radio on. Found 
it was great fun.

I'm not sure if the format is the same every week (last nite followed the 
NAQP format as practice for this weekends event), but activity starts at 0230z on 
20m cw (14040 +/-) and then seems to shift down to 40m (7040 +/-) after 10-15 
mins.  80m may or may not have been included as I only heard/wkd W9RE. 

26 Q's in the first 18 minutes was a blast, but things ran out of gas at that 
point. Perhaps more activity will cure that. 

Enjoying a "Florida" summer in Ohio (where we've had our 20th 90+ degree day).
