Between friday nite football games, wedding anniversary, leaf raking and lawn mowing, I did find time to get on the air. I must say that my procrastinating days need to go. Hunting and pouncing is great, but lot of work for so few points. Definetly need to take the bull by the horns and become the agressor. My beams definetly favor me on 15 meters, which almost makes me want to go single op on 15 only... My dipoles are in major need of replacing and redirecting, but will have to wait till the billions of leaves are off the trees... Was still very honored that some of the DX big guns knew me by name and wanted to know what other bands I was working!!! Think it should have been the other way around??? Being a little pistol, I was pretty high on that.

Am I still happy with my FT1000MP Mark V Field??? Well I'm not going to throw it away, but I do miss my ICOM 756 PRO and the rig I should have never let go, ICOM 761.

Stacked beams were great, better seperately than together. Bottom beam is right at tree level and the neighborhood has thousands of trees. Until the leaves fall, bottom beam pretty much sucks from Howland...
