[NCC] John Bostwick, AC8E

Many of the NCC members know John Bostwick, AC8E, whose Medina station has
been one of Ohio's stalwart contest locations since the early 1970's.  I am
sorry to report that John was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.  He
expects to undergo surgery on Friday, June 20 at the Cleveland Clinic, and
to be hospitalized there for five to seven days thereafter.  John promises
to attempt a 1D effort for FD from home.....but his normal, resonant booming
voice will be held in abeyance for that weekend.  With luck, look for
him handing out points on CW from his home station June 28-9.
Please keep your thoughts and prayers with John on Friday and over the
weekend.
