For those of you who didn't see it already, in the June CQ Magazine Tim
Duffy wrote a moving tribute to John Kanzius, K3TUP, one of NCC's initial
members.  Tim shared with me this random response:


Tim,

I Just got done reading the article you wrote in June's CQ magazine,about
K3TUP.
I never had the pleasure of working John before he passed........
and never realized he had such a passion for contesting, until reading your
article.
Thank you for taking the time to write the article for those of us who never
had a chance to
know some of the great "corner-stones" of  Amateur radio, like John.
His legacy and a part of him will live on, thanks to your bringing your
memories to the rest of us,
through your editorial contributions!
