No sense in sending in my log of zero q's. I tried, not full time, but I tried.

Finally set the FT857D squelch, and I'd hear a few elements of CW on 50.125 and when I'd release the squelch there was nothing more heard. I would catch snippets of SSB but not anything to make a Q out of. There was a VE3 way down in the noise that was there for a while, but not readable enough for a Q.

Guess my 2 el Moxon at 20 ft not quite good enough for January Prop at this lattitude, but it did work CT1FZE in June with 5 watts. Yeah, I know, Ron, W8RU is a little north of me, but he's got a real V/U station. :-)

Oh well, waiting for May - July.

=============
A reminder that the ARRL VHF SS starts at 2 pm today (Saturday) and runs
until 11 pm Sunday.

This is not the greatest time of the year for VHF propagation, but still it
 does generate activity and therefore is a good chance to get on and work
something. Due to the limited number of VHF ops within a given distance,
every person who gets on is much appreciated!

There is a club competition, so include the club when you send in your log!

Hope to work lots of you this weekend.
