Guys, these are no big numbers, but thanks to Dan's urging, I had a blast. I have absolutely nothing for 160 meters and figured that perhaps my 80 meter inverted V, plus my tuner, would do the trick. Well it totally sucked and only place my signal was going was straight up in the air to nowhere!
On the verge of throwing in the towel and not embarrasing myself, I accidently switched to my 40 meter dipole and was shocked that I was actually hearing signals and after 10 calls, I had 10 qso's in the log. So the rest of the contest was fun, but wish I could hear and work the DX that others were working. I definetly need to get something up for 160 in the Spring and need to do some research as to what my property has to offer me for antennas.
All in all, met lots of old friends who were surprised to see me on 160 and that was enjoyable as well...
