Comments:

Life is too short for spending an evening  scraping around trying to find 
new
guys to work.  So since CQ thankfully  doesn't have a "one call for the 
contest"
rule as does ARRL, I started over  the second day with the W3USA club call.

My wife was out of town for the  weekend, so I had no interruptions for 
either
effort. Therefore I was  able to spend far more time this weekend than in 
any
previous CQ  160.

Good conditions, good runs. The initial packet pileup made me feel  like a 
rare
DX station for a few minutes. 

Compared with my first  night effort as K8MR, I estimate that 80-90% of the 
guys
I worked from W3USA  I also worked from K8MR. I missed DC and PEI which I 
worked
the first night,  but got ND, SD, and NB which I had missed as K8MR.

One of these days I'll  have to get a receive antenna so that I will not be 
the
alligator that I  likely was.

Good to work lots of MRRC and NCC guys.  K8GL, I know  you are in MI, but I 
though I may have heard a dot before the M in MI, so had to  be sure you 
weren't over on the other side of Lake Michigan!
