[NCC] Rigs used by WRTC Teams?

A very interesting "side bar" is the Austrian team used Yaesu FT-857s
(mobile rigs) for almost the entire contest after their K3 receivers failed
due to a nearby storm (which almost blew N2NT and I across the field as
well).

The Austrians made almost 3000 QSOs (average well over 100 QSOs per hour)
and did not finish in last place - using what are "lesser" radios. They had
one spare FT-857 with them and one more was found at WRTC HQ for them so
they could finish with two radios.

During the awards ceremony the Russian hosts awarded this team a brand new
FT-857 in recognition of their meritorious dedication (after their K3s
failed - they did not give up, but continued to fight and ended up quite
well)

Thanks. I'll bet none of them used anything but contest grade equipment
with high performance front ends on the receivers. I've been spoiled
ever since I got hold of a Collins 75A4 receiver back in the 60's. And,
I'm not much of a contester.

I've heard rumors that several of the WRTC teams used Elecraft K-3 rigs @
their competition stations.

Where can we find a list of the equipment used by these teams? I don't see
the list on the WRTC-2010 site.

IF Elecraft was high on the list of equipment of choice, that might be a big
boost for them.
