Although not a "pure" contesting event - it is an exciting technology that
has its own worldwide QSO party!

I am a member of a organization that is hosting D Star Day in West
Middlesex, PA - all day - Saturday January 28, 2012.

At the Park Inn in West Middlesex (right at I-80 on the OH/PA border) -
which is close to many members of these clubs.

 

DX Engineering and Icom America will attend D Star Day in West Middlesex.
They will give presentations (along with others). 

 

There is also field trip tour of K3LR (6 minutes away) on the agenda.

 

If you are looking for something to do the weekend before the Super bowl -
you have an interest in D Star - or may be you have a friend that does (pass
the word) - this could be fun.
