Planned operating location was still snowed in.

Very low profile 40 meter single band operation (Buddipole at 8 feet) from
K3LR/5.

40 guys worked OK last night!

Sorry I missed you Jim

73,
Tim K3LR/5

Comments:

Beyond the crummy conditions noticed by everyone else, a late afternoon
snow led
to high power line noise levels to add to the problem.

Worked every mult I heard. I heard someone working KL7RA but never heard
Rich.

ESP QSO of the night: During the last hour while working WQ5L in MS for the
second time, I thought "gee, still missing AL, those guys are usually
pretty
active of late, where are they?" I got the frequency, and a loud KY4F
promptly
calls in. Guess I should have spent more time thinking about KY, ME, NE,
NV,
QC, etc.

P.S. Missed Oklahoma. Anybody in the club know anyone down there that
operates CW? :)
