In 2009 when I did this contest from Japan, my first day totals were 368 X
49 - 54,096 so I am way ahead.

Usually the 0600 and 0700 hours are poor and 1200 and 1300 are best, but
this year 0600 and 0700 were great (73 and 79), much better than 1200 and
1300.  Not sure why.

Good to work K3LR, K8AZ, K1LT, N8AA, K8GL, N3RS, K9NW, maybe a couple of
others.  Nobody from W1, W2, W3, W8 or W9 was real loud.  Many good signs
from GA, FL, TX and the west.  Still need ME, CT, VT, DE, DC all of Canada
from VE2 east, etc.
