Thanks to Dave, W9ZRX's hard work there are 6 dedicated CW Skimmer receivers
working around the clock at K3LR 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters feeding
the Reverse Beacon Network.

One condensed way to see the K3LR Skimming activity is to click here:

http://www.reversebeacon.net/dxsd1.php?f=0&c=K3LR&t=de

The K3LR Skimmers spot stations as the bands open and close - only the bands
that have activity at a given moment are listed on the right hand side.

If you send a CQ DE (your call) and there is propagation from you to K3LR -
the Skimmers will spot you and you can see your signal strength on the link
above.

These wide band software defined radio (Perseus) CW Skimmers help give you
an idea of what bands are active from Western PA.

Here is what the hardware looks like:

Depending on Activity - 3000 to 6000 spots are logged by the K3LR Skimmers
every day.

The K3LR Skimmer antennas are aimed at Europe on all bands, except 15 and 10
meters where there are antennas aimed south and west as well.

73,
Tim K3LR
