332 x 112 for 38,180
Not the score I was hoping for...BUT...there's a reason.
Turns out the microHam USB II interface I had been using
for quite a while doesn't take kindly to local lightning strikes.
(Well, neither does the Green Heron Controller, the DXE
antenna switch or my Toshiba laptop.)
Didn't realize that until Saturday morning around 9AM...fudge.
So, necessity being the mother of invention, I dug out my
old Hyundai desktop computer (circa 1993) with WF1B's RTTY Software
(circa 2000) and the HAL P38 card (circa 1997)...and went to work.
No mouse (couldn't find a bus mouse that would work with DOS 6.22),
no band map, no LOGTHENGRAB, no radio control, no rotor
control (actually no rotor...the quad was stuck on 20 and
pointed due west)...we was kickin' it Old School.
Congrats to NO3M (our ringer), WT8C and I suspect, WW3S
on great scores.
CQ-WW RTTY comes up on September 24-25...WW3S and I
will be at VP9I. Hope you can get on and work us on all bands
73,
Ray
