[NCC] Amplifier troubles

[KQ8M-1]

I have an AL-1200. I had to replace a band switch due to arcing trouble
which has since been cleared up. Now the output power jumps all over the
place as the input SWR is changing and my ic746PRO has to constantly retune.
Without auto tune the power folds back due to high SWR. This occurs on all
bands and all antennas. Please tell me I screwed up installing the band
switch as that tube is a bit out of my price range. They did have a slightly
different band switch that I am guessing is to help alleviate the arcing
problem. One wire is moved from one side of the switch to the other but it
was just a matter of rerouting it.

 

I am hoping someone can shed some light on my problem and if it I should
start looking for a new tube.
