As folks ramp up for SSB Sweepstakes, big time congratulations go out to
Charter NCC Member K8NZ, whose first grandchild, Shane, was born Wednesday
night at 11:53 pm.  Shane (no relation to the Shane at K8AZ) was originally
due to be born just after Thanksgiving.  Somehow, Ron managed to persuade
Melissa to push the date up so that, in the future, he will have a
grandchild's birthday party that conflicts only with SS SSB -- not CQWW CW.

Congratulations to delighted grandparents Ron and Angela and to Shane's
parents, Melissa and Mel.
