Comments: This was a great time! The 1st day conditions were very poor and only had 700 Q's by the
end of Saturday night. Sunday was better, still not much EU, only 60 - 70 but glad to put them in the
log. USA was in most of the day Sunday with the east coast being the strongest.
I found an opening due south longpath to Asia at 02:00Z and worked 6 - JA's, 6 - BY's, 3 - HS's, 1 - VR2 in
a 15 minute period and then they were gone. There was no JA shortpath. I tried for the morning LP into
Asia but it wasn't there. I noticed the stations to the south of me like HK1R, CW5W, LS1D, LU5FB were
working lots of stuff I couldn't hear. I guess this was the prime area to be for the weekend.
The whole week in Aruba was VFB making over 6000 contacts on all bands from Carl Cook's P49V place. It was amazing
that the pileups were so deep even with this place being on quite a bit. I also got on 6M and made 12
QSO's in 7 countries on TEP being a new one for a ZP9. A great time for sure!
Tnx for the Q's.
Tom K8CX / P40CX
