[NCC] Getting ready for the New Year

It's never too early to think about those small repairs or upgrades to our
stations that can make a difference in the upcoming 2013 contests.

 

Outside projects don't have to wait for summer weather! Today one of our NCC
members, Tim W3YQ/KL7WV stopped in to take on one of the upgrade projects
here at K3LR. Even with the colder WX and steady wind Tim installed a new
antenna switch at 100 feet with absolutely no problems. New grounds, coax
cable routing and DC control line connections. Everything is working
perfect.
