[NCC] New member candidate

NCC Warriors:

Good luck to all in this weekend's ARRL SSB DX test.  NCC has a HUGE total
from the CW weekend (kudos to the guys at W2FU!) and, as is typical, there
is less enthusiasm for the SSB test.  However, every point counts, so if
you don't feel like being serious, at least get on and enjoy the fun.  Set
an easy goal -- say 250Qs or 100 band countries.  If you do, I bet you'll
vastly exceed it once you're going.

As a separate matter, Jeff, W2FU, mentioned that an additional Rochester
ham is interested in NCC.  Wayne, N2WK is a big RTTY contester (although
many of his scores go to a local club where he's heavily involved.)  But he
would like to add his CW and SSB DX contest scores to the NCC total, and
even a few RTTY scores where his other club is not making an effort.  Per
Jeff, Wayne is quite active from home in DX tests and has even operated a
few times at W2FU.  Wayne has also been an active VHF contester.

Since NCC is invitation only, we need to do an e-vote on this one.  The
motion is to invite N2WK to NCC membership, and -- as we did with the other
Rochester invitees -- to waive 2012 dues.  Please respond thumbs up or
thumbs down.  (Might be nice to get this done before ARRL test this
weekend!)
