Hi Bob,

For the very reasons you mentioned I abandoned foot switches
many years ago.  Instead, I mount the switch to a convenient
vertical surface and use it as a "knee" switch.  A very slight movement
of one's leg activates it.  It is always in the same place and never moves.
I find it much more convenient.
