Warriors,

As you know, prior to Dayton, we embarked in a fund-raising commitment for
tents for WRTC-2014.  We easily raised the required $1,000 for the tent we
wanted (which will be an NCC memorial to NCC SKs.)  But we also raised a
second 1,000 in pledges for a second tent.

Unfortunately, as these things go, not all pledges got paid -- and we're now
just $50 short on the second tent.  Anyone willing to step up to make that
donation?  (Please "reply to all" so we don't unnecessarily dupe that
payment.)  Payments can be made via PayPal (donations at wrtc2014.org).
 WRTC2014 is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) charity, and all donations are tax
deductible.

As a slightly separate matter, K1DG has offered to let us transfer the
second tent into a new program:

We have a new fundraising program...the Team Village Sponsorships.

Same price - $1000 - and the money goes to help fund the rooms at the Team
Village hotel. Similar recognition...sign on door of room, can be "In
Memoriam", listed on Web, in video and printed program...all that.


In my view, it would be FAR better for NCC to sponsor one tent AND one Team
Village Room, instead of two tents --it will give us far better and more
diverse publicity.  Unless there is an objection by 0z tonight, I'll tell DG
that NCC will be delighted to shift its tent commitment to the Team Village
sponsorship.  Please let me know asap if you feel otherwise.
